I just wanted to make a quick post. This morning at around 3:15am, we lost power in our apartment and it didn't come back on until four hours later. So much for my morning cardio routine.
I ate well most of the day except for in the afternoon. The people who own the cafe downstairs where I work at were having their one year anniversary and I had a slice of cake with them. I alloted for it and made it for it later. I also made sure when I got home, I popped in Cardio Party 1 from Turbo Jam. I didn't wear my heart rate monitor, but I did use wrist weights through most of it and I pushed hard. I'm sure I burned mega calories.
I don't feel guilty about having the cake nor am I letting it derail me. I allotted for it and that's all that matters. Besides, I really don't intend on having cake again until the wedding. I'm really proud of myself though. That's most important to me.
But I feel pretty great. Now it's time to get studying done before I head off to bed. Not sure what I'll do tomorrow. I know I'll do some cardio in the morning, but not sure what weight routine. I'll figure it out.
